PROF. DR. LENNART JANS MD, PhD is head of clinics in musculoskeletal imaging of the department of radiology of Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. After his radiology residencies in Ghent and Liverpool, he embarked on a fellowship in pediatric radiology in Melbourne, Australia.
He is former Chair of the ESSR Arthritis Subcommittee and a member of BSR, ESSR, ASAS, ESR and OMERACT. As a musculoskeletal radiologist, his main field of interest is in inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases, with a focus on spondyloarthritis. He has authored or co-authored about 125 scientific papers; edited, and co-authored four books and is a lecturer at Ghent University. He is the publisher and editor of the book 'Arthritis Imaging' and co-founder of the AI company RheumaFinder, seeking to detect signs of rheumatic disease in the early stages of the disease.
In the last decade, he served as president of a series of international conferences on arthritis imaging in Ghent. As a lecturer, he has given numerous presentations for radiologists and rheumatologists alike at national and international conferences.
DR. SIMRAN KAUR specialises in Musculoskeletal imaging and is a consultant at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, NHS, UK. She finished her radiology training in India from Delhi and did a visiting fellowship in MSK from Philadelphia. After that she pursued her MSK fellowship training in Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry, UK. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and MMed (NUS) Singapore.
She is a member of various MSK radiology bodies like the ESSR, BSSR, MSS, and ECR. She is also a member of the tumour, sports and spine subcommittee of the ESSR. She is an advisory editor in the Editorial Board for Clinical Radiology.
She has authored and co-authors many articles and book chapters. She works in one of the five bone sarcoma centres in the UK and has special interest in Bone and soft tissue sarcomas. Her other areas of interest include spinal imaging, sports radiology, rheumatology along with spinal and other MSK interventions.
DR PAWEL SZARO, MD, PhD, Associate Professor, is a musculoskeletal radiologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the University of Gothenburg. He serves as Vice President of the Swedish Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology and is a member of the Sports Subcommittee of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR). He also works as a consultant for a sports imaging center, providing diagnostic imaging services for Swedish Olympic athletes.
His clinical and research focus includes advanced imaging techniques of the ankle and shoulder, particularly in sports-related injuries. Dr. Szaro has authored or co-authored more than 40 scientific publications and one textbook for radiology residents, and he is the main supervisor of four PhD students in musculoskeletal imaging.
He is actively involved in teaching, research, and professional education, and regularly lectures at national and international meetings in the field of musculoskeletal radiology.
DR. ANAGHA P. PARKAR is a well known radiologist at Haraldsplass Deaconess Hospital in Bergen, Norway. She has worked there as a general radiologist since 2008, with a special interest in musculoskeletal, chest and cardiac imaging. She is actively involved in teaching radiology to medical students from the University of Bergen, and research in the musculoskeletal and chest imaging field. She defended her PhD thesis on post-operative ACL imaging in 2021.
She has served on the boards of the Norwegian Society of Radiology, Norwegian Society of Musculoskeletal radiology and European Society of Musculoskeletal Society. Currently, she is preparing the ESSR anual meeting in 2027 - in Bergen!
DR BENEDIKTE WENDT RÆDER, PHD ved UiO i 2021. Hun er ortoped og overlege ved Martina Hansens Hospitals fotseksjon og Post doc ved Bærum Sykehus siden 2023. Hun fullførte turnustjeneste i Kristiansund, med distrikt ved Åmli legekontor i Agder. Spesialiseringen innen ortopedi fullførte hun ved Bærum Sykehus og Martina Hansens Hospital. Benedikte har vært hoved- og medforfatter i en rekke artikler innen ankelkirurgi. Hun er en engasjert kliniker og erfaren foredragsholder i både inn og utlandet.
INGER DUUS er konstituert overlege ved MSK seksjon OUS Ullevål. Hun studerte medisin ved Universitetet i Bergen, inkl. ett år på Forskerlinjen (utviklet dyremodell for antipsykotikainduserte bivirkninger). I 2018 ble hun uteksaminert og fullførte turnustjeneste ved Sykehuset i Vestfold og distrikt i Evenskjer kommune i Troms. Har siden jobbet totalt fem år som LIS i radiologi ved Sykehuset i Vestfold, Diakonhjemmet/Lovisenberg diakonale sykehus og Oslo universitetssykehus, Ullevål. Har bidratt med implementering av Boneview på Legevakten og vært styremedlem i Forening for Unge Radiologer.
